Pod Talent are excited to be partnering with a growing consumer brand on an Operations Manager – 3PL & Distribution opportunity. This is a key role sitting between the business and their 3PL partner, responsible for driving performance across warehouse and distribution operations, improving efficiency, and ensuring best-in-class service delivery across retail and direct-to-consumer channels.

Key Responsibilities:- Own the day-to-day relationship with the 3PL partner, ensuring strong operational performance and service delivery
- Drive OTIF performance across retail, D2C and wholesale channels
- Manage carrier relationships (e.g. DPD, Evri, Yodel), monitoring performance and resolving issues
- Lead cost control initiatives across warehousing and distribution, including budgeting and forecasting
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Support 3PL re-tendering and long-term network optimisation projects
- Oversee stock accuracy, cycle counts and annual stock takes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Support peak planning (Q4) and volume forecasting with the 3PL
- Experience working within logistics, warehousing, or 3PL environments
- Proven track record of managing 3PL providers and carrier performance
- Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations
- Experience managing budgets, costs, and driving efficiency improvements
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of operational performance
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
