I’m working with a premium, fast-growing food brand who are looking for an Inventory Analyst to join their expanding team in Central London (3 days in the office).
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records across internal systems and 3PL partners, supporting inventory visibility, operational performance, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

In this role, you will
- Own stock accuracy, inventory reporting, and KPI tracking, ensuring robust reporting at all times, particularly during month-end and year-end periods.
- Lead weekly and monthly stock reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and working with internal teams and 3PL partners to resolve issues.
- Act as the subject matter expert for inventory processes and systems, identifying opportunities to improve stock accuracy, reporting, and controls.
- Manage key inventory activities including SLOB reporting, annual stock counts, SKU master data maintenance, and inventory risk management.
- Build strong relationships with Finance, Operations, Customer Supply, and 3PL providers to drive operational excellence and reporting accuracy.
- Use advanced Excel and analytical skills to identify trends, solve inventory challenges, and support data-driven decision-making.
About you
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex inventory issues.
- Background in food and bev or FMCG
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets and inventory reporting.
- Experience managing inventory within a 3PL environment, with a solid understanding of warehouse operations and stock controls.
- Excellent attention to detail and experience working to tight reporting deadlines, particularly around month-end.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a track record of enhancing processes and improving reporting accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
