We are excited to be partnering with a fast-growing food business that is looking to hire a Demand Planning Manager to join their high-performing team in Central London. In this role, you will lead the Demand Planning function, working closely with the sales team to deliver accurate forecasts for the UK business while playing a key role in the S&OP process. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative business, where you’ll have real ownership and the chance to get involved in a wide range of impactful projects.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team to pull together accurate and timely demand plans across all product categories.
- Lead and develop a motivated demand planning team, driving strong forecasting and clear communication.
- Own forecast accuracy (DPA) for the UK, challenge sales inputs, and drive root cause analysis and improvements at SKU level.
- Support and improve S&OP and demand planning processes, including NPD launches, to make sure forecasts are as robust as possible.
- Drive continuous improvement, including automation, better use of tools and identifying efficiencies to reduce cost-to-serve.
Requirements
- 4+ years’ demand planning experience in FMCG, including team management and development.
- Strong analytical skillset with advanced Excel knowledge; Power BI / Anaplan a plus.
- Highly organised communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Proactive and resilient, able to work under pressure, adapt in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
