We are happy to be supporting a real heritage brand as they recruit their next Head of Packaging Operations. Based in a busy factory you will have responsibility for multiple packaging lines as well as quality and maintenance, working closely with your production colleagues. The role manages a large team through a number of direct reports and we are looking for a hands-on leader who will be present on the factory floor, instilling operational excellence principles and supporting the site director on the journey to create a site fit for the future.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced production leader within the FMCG industry, perhaps you are looking to add additional functions to your skill set or you simply fancy a change – being part of the evolution of this site will be a great career enabler.
What are we looking for?
- Established track record in leadership in production/packaging operations - this is not a ‘stepping up’ role
- Excellent working knowledge of lean methodologies including TPM
- Strong people leadership and change management experience
- Coming from an FMCG or Food and Beverage background
- This is an on-site role so needs someone based in the local area - relocation can be supported but we are looking for someone with existing right to work in the UK.
