We’re excited to be partnering with a super exciting start-up business, with huge growth potential and ambition, to help them find an exceptional Head of Operations to join their small, but growing team. This is a unique opportunity to join a business at the start of their growth journey and take ownership of end-to-end operations – optimising supply chain, logistics, inventory, and customer service processes while driving strategic initiatives to help unlock growth and efficiencies.
About the role:
- Operational Leadership – Oversee and optimise all operational functions, including supply chain, logistics, inventory management and customer service, whilst building scalability to support company’s rapid growth.
- Team Building & Leadership – Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and innovation.
- Strategic Planning – Develop and execute operational strategies that align with company’s ambitious vision.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, 3rd party partners, customers, and the leadership team.
- Continuous Improvement – Drive a culture of continuous optimisation, cost reduction, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
About you:
- Supply Chain & Logistics Expertise – 5+ years of experience working in supply chain operations, with expertise in supply chain planning, inventory management, and logistics operations/customer fulfilment.
- Hands-On & Strategic – A natural leader who can dive into the details while driving big-picture operational strategy.
- High-Growth Experience – Proven track record in supply chain leadership role within a fast-growing start-up environment (ideally within Consumer Goods/FMCG industry).
- People & Stakeholder Management – Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Systems, Process & Performance Optimisation – A data-driven mindset with a passion for improving operational processes and driving efficiency, whilst working with ERP systems (such as Netsuite)
