I am partnering with a growing international consumer goods business that is looking to expand its team by recruiting a

Demand Planner in South-West London (3 days in the office).

The UK market represents a significant proportion of the business, making this a highly visible role with real influence across the organisation.

You will play a key part in the monthly S&OP process, ensuring demand plans are robust, risks and opportunities are identified, and cross-functional teams are aligned on an 18-month rolling forecast.

Beyond managing the forecasting process, you will have the opportunity to improve planning methodologies, influence commercial decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across the wider supply chain.

The role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys challenging assumptions, turning data into actionable insights, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver best-in-class demand planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly demand review meetings and support the regional S&OP process across key markets.
  • Generate, maintain, and improve demand forecasts using planning systems and statistical forecasting techniques.
  • Drive forecast accuracy through analysis of trends, risks, opportunities, and customer demand patterns.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to build consensus forecasts and challenge assumptions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecasting effectiveness, reporting, and planning performance.

About You

  • 5+ years experience as a Demand Planner, Forecast Analyst, Supply Chain Planner, Demand & Supply Planner, or similar planning role.
  • Strong FMCG, consumer goods, retail, wholesale, or fast-moving environment experience.
  • Proven experience leading monthly demand reviews, challenging forecasts, and contributing to S&OP processes.
  • Hands‑on experience with demand planning systems, ideally Anaplan.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience generating forecasts, improving forecasting methodologies, and managing large SKU portfolios.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across Commercial, Sales, and Supply Chain functions.

Please note: sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.
