Pod Talent are excited to be partnering with a market-leading consumer goods manufacturer who are looking for a Demand Planner to join their team in Berkshire.
In this role, you will oversee the building and planning of customer forecasts, ensuring its accuracy and being the point of contact for a set of customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful Demand Planner to contribute to ongoing process improvements, with clear potential for career progression.
About the role: As a Demand Planner, you will:
- Build and approve Promotional planning forecasts, as well as managing the phase in and out of stock units within your remit
- Work closely with the key Accounts Managers and Demand Analyst to improve forecast accuracy
- Take care of order fulfilment by making sure the order arrives in full and in time to the customers and maintain an efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast for the products in promotion and check how feasible the promotion is with the Business Units Flow Management team
About you:
- 2+ years experience working in Demand Planning or Merchandising
- Good communication skills and organisational skills
- Able to work as part of a team with strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills (Excel skills + ERP)
