Responsibilities

  • Own the Mobile App Experience – lead end‑to‑end design of the mobile app, crafting user flows, UI, interactions, motion for intuitive, performant, delightful experiences.
  • Drive Design Quality and Craft – raise the bar for visual, usability, accessibility, and detail, guiding the team to 5‑star experiences.
  • Evolve our Design System – mature and scale the design language and system to support speed, consistency, and growth.
  • Lead User‑Centred Design Decisions – plan, conduct research, synthesize insights and balance business, technical constraints.
  • Shape Product Direction – collaborate with leaders on change management, culture and performance to steer Pod through growth.
  • Oversee the Full Product Lifecycle – identify opportunities, simplify complexity, influence road‑maps with design‑led thinking.
  • Collaborate Cross‑functionality – work with product managers and engineers to solve problems and deliver outcomes.
  • Partner Across the Business – cooperate with marketing on messaging and end‑to‑end customer journeys.
  • Work with Pace and Flexibility – adapt between rapid exploration, iteration and polish based on problem scope.
  • Improve How We Work – refine processes and ways of working for clarity and efficiency.
  • Mentor and Elevate the Team – support growth of other designers through mentoring and stewardship of standards, tools, best practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end mobile app ownership, excellent craft and measurable impact.
  • Strong foundation in design fundamentals, usability, interaction patterns and accessibility (WCAG).
  • Autonomous and proactive in understanding requirements; high level of independence.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills – lead workshops, alignment sessions, stakeholder discussions.
  • Attention to detail, organised and thrives in structured environments.
  • Effective engineering collaboration – understand technical constraints and make pragmatic decisions.
  • Customer‑Centred approach – base work on customer insight, research, and real user behavior.
