We are looking for a seasoned product leader who can take Pod\’s product function to the next level.
This role is about shaping the strategy for hardware and digital products that customers love, building propositions that drive real revenue, and positioning Pod as a leader in the EV and energy space.

You\’ll be responsible for:
Lead and Develop the Product Team
– you\’ll manage, coach, and inspire a team of seven Product Managers (Principal to Associate level) and the Head of Digital Design (team of four), fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Build a Cohesive Product Strategy
– you\’ll align and integrate product plans across Pod\’s value streams, ensuring synergy and clarity in how we deliver customer and commercial value
Shape Winning Propositions
– you\’ll work closely with Marketing, Operations, and EDF to design products and services that meet partner needs and market trends.
Drive Revenue Impact: you\’ll own the delivery of new products and propositions that generate measurable commercial growth
Shape Value Propositions
– you\’ll work closely with Marketing, Product, Operations and EDF through value streams and one-to-one relationships, to align offerings with partner needs and market trends
Stay Ahead of the Market
– you\’ll track industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to keep Pod differentiated and future-ready
Spot and Realise New Opportunities
– you\’ll collaborate with C-Suite and senior stakeholders to identify strategic shifts in the energy sector and translate them into actionable product initiatives
Influence Industry Direction
– you\’ll engage with government, trade bodies, and industry forums to position Pod as a thought leader in EV charging and energy transition
Represent Pod Externally
– you\’ll act as a visible ambassador at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, showcasing Pod\’s innovation and leadership
Champion our Values

Electrify us with your skills:
Proven product leadership
– 10+ years in product roles, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position (VP or Head of Product)
Sector expertise
– Experience in EV and energy markets, ideally with exposure to flexibility and smart energy opportunities
A Customer Centric Mindset
– Putting the customer first and working backwards to sync with revenue targets
Strategic and commercial acumen
– Ability to define product strategies that drive revenue while adapting to a fast-moving sector
