POD Architects is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its growing team in London. The role will work on a wide variety of projects, ranging from design development to planning packages to tender information. POD Architects has a predominant focus in the residential mixed‑use sector with schemes ranging in size from 150-400 units, along with some one‑off houses.
About us: POD Architects is an award‑winning practice with a strong focus on residential mixed‑use developments and the retail/hospitality sectors. Many of the projects are located on strategically significant sites. We approach each project as a collaborative effort, working closely with clients and local authorities, and regularly conducting in‑house design reviews. We strive to create a collaborative and enriching working environment.
We are seeking architectural assistants to assist the directors to:
- deliver high‑quality design
- assist in coordinating design staff
- promote the values and reputation of the practice
You will:
- assist the team within the office, comprising of architects and architectural assistants
- assist in the delivery of projects
- contribute to the creative direction of the office
- support your team to achieve project goals
Skills and experience:
- Part 2 assistant with at least three years’ working experience
- experience working on residential projects
- confident, organised and proactive
- competent with working experience using Revit software
- ability to use Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office and Adobe software, including Photoshop and InDesign
- excellent written and verbal English
