POD Architects is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its growing team in London. The role will work on a wide variety of projects, ranging from design development to planning packages to tender information. POD Architects has a predominant focus in the residential mixed-use sector with schemes ranging in size from 150-400 units, along with some one-off houses.

POD Architects is an award-winning practice with a strong focus on residential mixed-use developments and the retail/hospitality sectors. Many of the projects are located on strategically significant sites. We approach each project as a collaborative effort, working closely with clients and local authorities, and regularly conducting in-house design reviews. We strive to create a collaborative and enriching working environment.

We are seeking architectural assistants to assist the directors to:

  • deliver high-quality design
  • assist in coordinating design staff
  • promote the values and reputation of the practice

You will:

  • assist the team within the office, comprising of architects and architectural assistants
  • assist in the delivery of projects
  • contribute to the creative direction of the office
  • support your team to achieve project goals

Skills and experience:

  • Part 2 assistant with at least three years’ working experience
  • experience working on residential projects
  • confident, organised and proactive
  • competent with working experience using Revit software
  • ability to use Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office and Adobe software, including Photoshop and InDesign
  • excellent written and verbal English
