We are looking for a highly motivated and autonomous Office/Facilities Manager to work within our dynamic Operations team. This is a pivotal role offering full autonomy, allowing you to play a key role in the daily operations and long-term upkeep of our office facilities.

The Role: Operational Excellence and Autonomy

You will be responsible for delivering the highest standards for our office, ensuring it remains an exceptional place to work for our staff and a welcoming environment for our clients. This is a hands-on role where you will manage all aspects of our office facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Management: Control all day-to-day office operations, ensuring everything runs with maximum efficiency and precision.
  • Facilities Strategy: Play a key role in developing and implementing the long-term facilities strategy for the business.
  • Maintenance Oversight: Oversee and manage both planned and reactive maintenance contracts, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Safety & Compliance: Organise and complete all UK Health & Safety (H&S) tasks (including fire safety), ensuring full compliance and the well-being of all staff.
  • Front-of-House: Deliver an excellent front-of-house service, greeting clients and visitors in person and managing phone enquiries with professionalism.
  • Service & Support: Handle service-level queries related to heating, general building maintenance, and coordinate all ordering of essential supplies (stationery, refreshments, etc.).
  • Administration: Manage meeting rooms and ensure they are fully equipped and ready for client meetings.
  • Project Support: Provide support on various operational projects and complete ad hoc tasks as required by the business.

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Facilities Manager, or Facilities Supervisor.

  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of UK Health & Safety Legislation.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with an unwavering attention to detail.
  • A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with staff, contractors, and clients.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

The Offer: Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: Up to £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience).
  • Working Hours: Mon-Thurs, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm; Fri, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
