The predicted salary is between 10 - 16 £ per hour.
Due to a retirement within the team, we are seeking to recruit a new member of our Dispensary. Ideally, applicants should be qualified Dispensers; however, training would be available to the right candidate, so the lack of a qualification should not be a hindrance to application. The successful applicant will need to have excellent organisational, computer and people skills as well as an excellent understanding of confidentiality. Weekly working hours will be 24 hours (with a one hour, unpaid lunch break) every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. All dispensary staff are required to work a Saturday morning, hours on a rota basis (normally 1:4). Interviews will take place on Monday 16 March and Thursday 19 March 2026.

The work will involve routine duties relating to prescriptions and other work as appropriate and relevant within the Practice dispensary.

Pocklington Group Practice is a friendly, pro-active General Practice located in a purpose-built, state of the art healthcare facility, set in the picturesque and growing Yorkshire market town of Pocklington, East Yorkshire. We are a dispensing, training, teaching and paperlite EMIS Web practice serving circa 19,000 patients and dispensing directly to approximately 6,800.
