We are looking for a Senior Growth Product Manager to help more learners get value out of our product, stick with studying, and come back to us throughout their career.
About the Role
You will lead product-led growth across onboarding, activation, retention, and LTV, working closely with our Product and Growth teams to find the seams where better product experience drives better outcomes. That means talking to customers constantly, digging into data obsessively, and running experiments to find what works. You will work in a product trio with a designer and an engineer, with real autonomy to identify opportunities, form hypotheses, and test and build your best bets.
We are looking for someone who is energized by collaboration and autonomy, and whose confidence and creative problem-solving have led to successful outcomes in consumer products.
What You Will Do
- Own the customer journey outcome. Drive free-to-paid conversion, activation rate, and post-exam re-engagement as your north star metrics.
- Reduce product friction. Analyze user behavior to identify where there is friction and drop off, and run experiments with your product trio to fix it.
- Build and test retention features. Design, ship, and iterate on features that build lasting study habits.
- Run a continuous discovery practice. Conduct ongoing customer interviews and assumption tests to stay close to user needs and validate ideas before building.
- Manage the full product lifecycle. Lead the project team and processes from opportunity identification through shaping, development, release, and post-launch analysis.
- Report on growth KPIs. Track and communicate squad metrics to the team and leadership; identify what is working and what isn’t.
- Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and customer support to deliver cohesive experiences.
About You
We are looking for someone who has the following:
Required
- At least 4 years in a product management role with a growth, lifecycle, or conversion focus.
- Strong experience using data analytics to drive product decisions (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar).
- Hands-on experience running A/B experiments.
- Strong understanding of user activation, conversion, and retention mechanics.
- Located in the Durham, NC area.
Preferred
- Familiarity with continuous discovery or empowered product team models.
- Experience building consumer subscription products.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite.
