About the Internship

As a Growth Intern, you will work closely with our Growth team and occasionally with other teams like Product or Design. You will support the Growth team by developing and deploying content strategies across different learning industries, giving you real-world marketing experience! This allows you to apply academic principles from your classroom in practice with a tech-based company. As you work with us, you will be able to develop your own work portfolio with published blog posts, carefully designed content strategies, website pages, and social media posts. We're planning for this internship to last the summer semester (June-August), and we're flexible on the end date with an expectation of around 10-20 hours a week.

What we offer

  • Real-world experience with how Growth functions within a subscription-based EdTech company.
  • 1-to-1 mentorship with a Growth team mentor.
  • Meeting participation to see strategy turned into execution.
  • Opportunity to contribute to meaningful Growth experiments or campaigns.
  • Ability to present results and recommendations to the Growth team.
  • Experience in analytics, experimentation, and performance tracking.
  • Building a portfolio-ready project.
  • Hybrid working opportunity in our downtown Durham office and remotely.
  • Working with a company with a focus on the mission.

Skills & Qualifications

The right candidate will be passionate about our mission, embody our core values, support our Growth team, and be excited to level up their skills. We are looking for interns who are:

  • Undergraduate junior or senior students studying these majors (or related fields): Marketing, Business, Data analytics, Communications, Economics, Public relations, Journalism, English.
  • Strong analytical thinkers with a curious learner’s mindset.
  • Resourceful self-starters.
  • Strong communicators and have collaboration skills.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Receptive to feedback.
  • Curious about experimentation and performance marketing.
  • Comfortable with data (Excel, Google Sheets; bonus: GA4, etc.).
