At its core, this role is grounded in partnering with some of the best storytellers and helping them bring their visions to life on the Pocket FM App across a range of content formats. You shall actively engage with the creative team, writers, data analysts, and producers to work on concepts, research, and data, to create immersive and compelling scripted serialized stories across multiple genres. The successful candidate will marry a strong passion for entertainment and storytelling with a hearty curiosity for innovation and data, to define the content strategy and playbook. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the production of original and/or adapted scripted series from pitch through ongoing production
  • Conceptualize adaptation and story improvement ideas for shortlisted IPs basis direction from the creative leads
  • Generate new show ideas/concepts and develop plans to execute them
  • Work with the Creative Leads to create show playbooks encompassing the creative strategy for the respective show
  • Ensure that ongoing series scripts are delivered on schedule
  • Work on ideas to improve retention on ongoing series basis the feedback from user comments/retention trends
  • Maintain show bible for ensuring proper execution on each show basis the playbook

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Creative level or above experience at a studio, network or production company. Or, Literary Agency/Management Company experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints
  • Strong understanding of story, theme, tone, structure, plot, and narrative arcs
  • Passion for storytelling and content
