About PocDoc
PocDoc is transforming how people access and manage their health through digital diagnostics. Our mission is to make affordable, accessible blood testing available to everyone — empowering individuals, providers, and partners with rapid insights that improve outcomes. We are scaling quickly across the UK health ecosystem — from private testing providers to enterprise and healthcare partnerships. To accelerate this growth, we’re hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help drive the top of our sales funnel and fuel our next stage of expansion. A core growth area for this role will be to scale into our next International territory for expansion, as such we are asking that the candidate for this role is bilingual and fluent in English and German.
Role Overview
As a BDR, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying new prospects for the PocDoc sales team. You’ll own the early stages of the sales process — researching target accounts, running structured outreach, and booking qualified meetings that convert to opportunities. This is a fast-paced, target-driven role — ideal for someone who’s confident communicating with prospects, comfortable using data tools and CRM systems, and motivated by results. Experience selling into the NHS sector (ICBs/ Local Authorities/ PCNs / Providers) is preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and identify new business opportunities within healthcare, retail, and private testing sectors. Build and maintain target account lists using LinkedIn, databases, and CRM tools. Segment and prioritise leads based on fit and potential value. Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Outreach & Engagement: Execute structured, high-volume outreach sequences (email, LinkedIn, phone). Personalise outreach based on prospect needs and PocDoc’s value proposition. Run initial qualification calls and discovery discussions. Secure and schedule meetings for senior members of the sales team.
- Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all leads, contacts, and interactions in HubSpot (or equivalent CRM). Track and report key performance metrics: outreach volume, conversion rates, meetings booked, and opportunity creation. Support weekly sales pipeline reviews by ensuring data accuracy and visibility.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify patterns in successful outreach and feed learnings back into the sales playbook. Collaborate with sales leadership to refine messaging and targeting. Participate in sales training and skill-development sessions to continuously improve performance.
About You
You’re a motivated, proactive communicator who enjoys connecting with people and thrives in a target-oriented environment. You’re curious, coachable, and eager to grow your career in sales within a fast-growing healthtech business.
Skills & Experience
- Bilingual & fluent in English and German.
- 1–2 years’ experience in B2B lead generation, inside sales, or sales development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised, detail-driven, and comfortable working with CRM systems – Hubspot is current CRM.
- Confident using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other lead-generation tools.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and excited by achieving and exceeding KPIs.
- Experience in Healthtech and NHS B2B sales (preferred but not required).
