• Meeting and greeting customers, offering excellent customer service
• Performing pre‑screening eye health checks
• Ensuring a smooth and friendly handover to the optometrist
• Dispensing glasses
• Fitting and repairing spectacles
• Teaching contact lens use
• Administration duties
