Optical Assistant – Full‐timeJoin a friendly, independent optician in Harrow Road – a well‐established practice known for its welcoming atmosphere, loyal patient base and supportive team culture.

We\’re looking for an experienced Optical Assistant who feels valued and wants to grow with us. This full‐time role offers a healthy work‐life balance, Sundays closed and a warm, welcoming environment where you can help deliver great patient care.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and deliver a personal, high‐quality service.

Book appointments, handle calls and perform general reception duties.

Dispense a range of lenses – single vision, varifocals, high‐index.

Adjust frames and support patients with their eyewear choices.

Assist the optometrist and contribute to the smooth daily running of the practice.

Maintain a tidy, organised and relaxed practice environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in optics is essential.

A friendly, professional, confident manner with patients.

A team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues.
