About the role

This is a great internal opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people and keeping a busy service running smoothly. As a Repairs Planning Supervisor, you’ll lead a small planning team and play an important role in making sure our customers’ homes are maintained safely, efficiently and with care. You’ll support the planning team day to day, helping them juggle priorities such as reactive repairs, voids and larger works. You’ll bring clarity when things get busy, make confident decisions, and work closely with colleagues in Customer Services and with contractors to keep communication clear and consistent. This role is very much about people leadership. You’ll support wellbeing, set clear expectations, coach performance and help colleagues develop. You’ll also use data and basic performance information to spot issues early and improve how the service runs. You don’t need to know everything on day one. We’re looking for someone who’s curious, organised, supportive and confident in leading others.

Skills and Experience needed

This role would suit someone who has experience line‑managing or supervising a similar operational or customer‑focused team, ideally in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll be comfortable with planning or scheduling work, using systems and basic performance data to keep things on track. You’ll communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of people, including customers and colleagues, and feel confident providing guidance, feedback and support to your team. Good general IT skills (email, spreadsheets and word processing) are important, as is being open to learning new systems. An understanding of building maintenance, Health & Safety, or SOR codes would be helpful, but is not essential if you’re keen to learn. A full driving licence is required.

Perks, Benefits and a glimpse into our Codi world

A basic DBS is required for this role, which we pay for. This opportunity may also be considered as a secondment, subject to discussion and agreement with your current line manager before applying. We support a healthy work–life balance through Monday to Friday working, with the option of compressed hours (9‑day fortnight).
