We work with international clients on a range of hiring needs, from entry-level to executive appointments. We’re hiring for a Scientific Services Director to champion the delivery of engaging, relevant scientific and promotional content for a healthcare communications client. This role is focused on providing internal leadership, managing content resources, and driving up the quality standards of all agency copy and assets. This role offers flexible hybrid working, combining remote work with frequent trips to the company office in central London.
What you'll be doing
- Team Leadership: You will provide direction to the content team, managing both internal and freelance resources on a day-to-day basis to ensure adequate capacity for workload delivery.
- Strategic Advocacy: You will contribute to strategic and tactical thinking for clients, acting as an extension of their brand team and representing the agency as a specialist knowledge base for clinical data.
- Process Improvement: You will establish best practices in briefing and content direction, aiming to eliminate inefficiencies and ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
The experience you'll need
- Prior Agency Experience: You will be currently working in a similar role for a MedComms / healthcare communications agency, as a Senior Scientific Director or similar.
- Resource Management: Proven ability to manage deadlines and complex content-creating resources while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Commercial Insight: A strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing principles and how to apply scientific data to meet commercial objectives.
