We are an independent talent consultancy specialising in medical communications. We're working with a top international med comms agency to recruit multiple Senior Medical Writers for their London office β€” for writers who specialise in publications, medical affairs, or a mix of both. These roles are based from a welcoming London office, hybrid with up to three days a week in person.

Both roles sit on rare disease accounts, where the patient impact is tangible and the science is genuinely interesting.

  • A broad mix of deliverables: manuscripts, congress publications, plain language summaries, companion pieces (slide decks, infographics), congress reporting and meeting support.
  • Medical affairs and education-focused.
  • Weighted towards educational and medical affairs materials with some publications, on an account covering rare haematological disorders.

This position suits a strong editorial thinker with excellent PowerPoint skills and an eye for visuals β€” and it comes with opportunities for travel.

Experience writing in the medical communications sector, with a strong scientific background (a science PhD, preferably life sciences, would be advantageous).

Confidence communicating with scientific and healthcare professionals, and comfort with significant client interaction.

Strong PowerPoint and visual communication skills (particularly for the medical affairs role).

A passion for communicating science, a 'can-do' attitude, and a collaborative approach.

If you're a Senior Medical Writer looking for work that makes a real difference to patients, get in touch via our website or contact Tom Davies directly β€” and let us know whether publications, medical affairs, or a mix of both is where you want to take your career.
