pobl. is a talent consultancy specialising in medical communications, healthcare advertising and market access. We work with international clients on a range of hiring needs, from entry-level to executive appointments. We're hiring for an Associate Consultant or Consultant to join our talent consulting team as the first hire in this role, supporting our Managing Director. We partner with organisations that develop life-changing therapies and work with professionals who are true experts in delivering impactful medical communications.

This is a remote-based position in the UK with occasional hybrid working in the Chester/Wrexham area, where you will be responsible for running recruitment processes that require pace, care, and genuine curiosity about people’s careers.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment processes across both retained and contingency briefs, ensuring high-quality outcomes through thorough screening and transparent communication.
  • Proactively networking with the MedComms community using LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM data, and AI tools to identify and engage with specialized talent.
  • Acting as a genuine career consultant, motivated by helping professionals navigate their "what next" and providing a sounding board for their decision-making.

The experience you'll need:

  • Some experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or career advisory is useful, but we prioritise an outcome-driven "can-do" mindset and the dogged persistence required to drive success for our clients and your own personal outcomes.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to build trust quickly with both candidates and clients through consultative and clear communication.
  • A tech-savvy approach with an inquisitive nature for testing and trialing new tools—particularly AI and automation—to improve professional workflows.
  • We're inviting applications from those who may be early in their career, or more experienced. Finding the right fit of personality, enthusiasm, and potential, is essential to this hire.

The package for this role is dependent on experience and offers a blend of salary, uncapped commission, and business development bonuses (with the potential for future equity as the business scales). Please apply via the job advert for immediate consideration with your CV. We'd be delighted to hear from you.
