About the role

Make an impact: Play a key role in financial governance, reporting, and forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely information for stakeholders.

Work collaboratively: Partner with operational teams, senior managers and budget holders to improve financial understanding and support informed decision-making.

Support planning and performance: Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning, helping shape financial direction.

Drive improvement: Support the development of systems, processes and controls, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Skills and experience needed: We’re looking for someone with experience of preparing management accounts and financial reports, with strong analytical skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly. You’ll be confident working with senior stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and supporting colleagues in a business partnering environment. A practical understanding of financial controls, risk and regulation is important, along with a proactive approach to improving processes. Ideally, you’ll be a CCAB qualified accountant, but we’re also happy to hear from part-qualified candidates working towards qualification.

This role is a full-time, permanent (37 hours per week). Salary is £44,632 FTE (part-qualified) or £52,909 FTE (qualified).
