About the role: Llys Enfys is an Extra Care scheme for over 50s with care or support needs that blends the freedom of independent living with the reassurance of on-site support. There are 102 self-contained flats for the valued residents. This is more than just a kitchen—it’s a vibrant community where your passion for food can truly make a difference. If you’re looking for a rewarding role in catering, this is your chance to be part of something exciting from the very start! We’re looking for a dynamic manager to oversee operations at this new site, plan nutritious meals, and inspire a positive team culture. You’ll ensure compliance, maintain health and safety, and work closely with the Service Manager to provide a customer-focused experience.

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Ability to lead, manage and upskill a team - skilled at motivating, organising, and supporting a team to deliver high standards under pressure. We are looking for someone who is confident in spotting skill gaps and providing practical, hands-on training to help the team grow.
  • Dietary and cultural knowledge - committed to creating menus that respect dietary requirements and cultural preferences.
  • Capable of working to a set budget - able to manage resources effectively, reduce waste, and keep costs under control without compromising quality.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation/Catering - solid knowledge of food safety, preparation techniques, and industry standards, with recognised qualifications.
