About the role
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across both commercial and central support areas of the business. Working closely with the Finance Business Partner and Management Accountants, you’ll help prepare monthly management accounts, including income and expenditure statements, variance analysis, and clear supporting commentary.
You’ll assist with budget preparation and rolling forecasts, provide KPI data and ad-hoc financial reports, and work with budget holders across operational, commercial and central teams to build financial awareness and strengthen decision-making. You’ll also contribute to the completion of external finance returns, support audit processes, and ensure compliance through reconciliations and robust financial controls.
Where the role fit in
This role sits within the wider Finance team and reports into a Finance Business Partner. It works collaboratively with other Assistant Management Accountants and closely with commercial services and central support functions, as well as operational teams across the group. Acting as a key link between finance and service areas, you’ll help drive strong financial management, process improvement, and timely, accurate reporting.
You’ll also provide cover for other Assistant Management Accountants where required and contribute to team-wide initiatives that support consistent, best-practice financial processes across Codi.
