Our Monmouthshire Supported housing accommodation Service is looking for a Waking Nights Project Worker to join their team in the Chepstow scheme. This is a part‑time (36hrs), permanent position.
It is essential that the successful candidate has a driver\’s license and access to a car.

- Part-time – 36 hours
- Salary for this role is £26,072.00 FTE
- Permanent Contract
- Work Pattern: 2-week rolling rota, Waking Nights, with every other weekend off

Our service gives young people experiencing homelessness a housing solution. Our service offers housing related support to assist our service users to move into their own tenancy and gain independence.
Here you will find a welcoming team who are all enthusiastic and motivated to empower the people we support to live independently. This is a really rewarding role where you will see the people we support develop and grow and build on their confidence to be able to move on into their own tenancy. This is an exciting opportunity for you to really make a difference to people’s lives and help them, build on their confidence and skills to move into their own tenancies within the Monmouthshire area.
Responsibilities
- Engaging and interacting with our service users
- Writing and following a support plan with the individual you are supporting
- Liaising with external agencies
- Addressing any additional needs, the people we support might have
Qualifications
- Have knowledge of housing related support and benefit systems
- Have good organisation, IT and record keeping skills
- Can work part of a team and on an individual basis
- Deal with difficult situations
- Have good listening skills
