At Pobl Group, we are recruiting a part-time (30hrs), permanent, waking nights Scheme Support Officer to join our accommodation-based support service in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent. Ty Parc supports a range of individuals and families who have experienced homelessness and have varying needs, such as mental health issues, substance misuse issues and learning difficulties.

Our team delivers support to vulnerable individuals and helps them to develop the key skills needed to prevent homelessness, improve financial capability, promote re-settlement into the community and achieve positive progression. You will play a key part in enabling individuals to achieve their goals and empower them to lead independent lives.
Your duties will include:
- Connecting with our 22 clients and their families.
- Considerate responses to incidents with the support of an on-call Manager.
- Capturing conversations and updating records.
- Providing our clients with a positive environment to live.
- Completing reasonable requests from the scheme’s Manager and Lead Project Workers.
- Liaising with emergency services and the duty team.
- Performing cleaning tasks and ensuring efficient room turnovers to maintain a high standard of service.
What are the pay and benefits?
- The salary based on 30hrs is £19,890.00 / £12.75ph.
- Permanent Shift pattern: primarily waking nights, with some flexibility needed for occasional day shift coverage.
- 4 week rolling rota.
- Opportunity to work additional hours/overtime.
- Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.
- 26 days (pro rata) holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays, rising to 27 days after 1 years’ service or cash equivalent of 1 days’ annual leave.
