Overview
Our supported living service in St Julians, Newport provides support for 5 individuals in their own flats. This innovative service seeks new and exciting ways of supporting the individuals to attain new experiences. Focusing on developing the individuals wellbeing and goal setting for the future. This will be an opportunity to help them to explore more independent ways of living and gaining life skills whilst supporting them to create new and exciting opportunities for themselves.
Responsibilities
- Providing personalised support tailored to individual needs.
- Offering emotional support and positive encouragement.
- Completing light household tasks and basic administrative duties.
- Bringing fresh ideas and helping to improve ways of working.
- Checking and recording medication stocks and personal finances in line with policy.
- An element of personal care may be required as part of the daily responsibilities.
Shift pattern and requirements
Shifts include a minimum of 20 daytime hours, with additional sleep-ins, working a variance of shifts throughout the week. If you\’re caring, adaptable, and looking for a role where you can make a real difference, we\’d love to hear from you.
Experience and qualifications
A genuine passion for supporting individuals with complex health needs; Experience of working with people/customers and in a team; Flexibility – our services run 24/7 and shift patterns vary; A full UK manual driving licence is preferable as there are mobility cars at some of our services; Competence in using IT systems for record keeping and care planning.

Day Shifts: 3pm – 10pm / 7am – 3pm including
Sleep-In Shifts: Additional to day shifts (+ £62.64 per shift)
Hourly Rate: £12.75, making the annual salary £24,531 (FTE)
