If you’re passionate about supporting others to live independently and make the most of every day, we’d love to have you on our Supported Living relief bank in Llanelli. With fully flexible hours and shifts, you can choose a working pattern that fits around your lifestyle. Our services operate 24/7, offering a variety of options including days, evenings, weekends, and sleep ins (with day shifts typically running between 7am and 11pm). You’ll be supporting adults with mental health needs who are social, full of personality, and enjoy getting out and about. Your role will focus on promoting independence, helping to build life skills, and joining them in their hobbies, routines, and everyday activities. We follow a “do with, not do for” approach, because we believe in empowering people, not doing things for them.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting with medication, cooking, and household tasks
- Helping with personal care where needed
- Encouraging community involvement and hobbies
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting budgeting and admin tasks
- Driving individuals to activities and appointments
- Keeping clear and accurate digital records
- Bringing fresh ideas and energy to the team
Skills And Experience Needed
A background of working with people with physical or mental health needs is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided.

Pay and Pensions
- ÂŁ24,531 (ÂŁ12.75 per hour)
- Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift – approx. 1 per week.
- Waking night rate: 20% Enhancement from 11pm to 7am
- Enhanced DBS which we will pay for
- Social Care Wales registration is fully reimbursed
- Pension Choices:
- Defined Contribution (DC) Scheme with matched contributions up to 10%. Or,
- Defined Benefit (DB) 1/80th of final salary for every year of service.
Time off and Flexibility
- 26 days holiday, pro rata entitlement plus Bank holidays. Rising to 27 days after 1 years service or cash equivalent of 1 days’ annual leave.

- Paternity Leave: 3 weeks
