Overview
We\\\’re looking for an enthusiastic Support Worker to join our friendly and supportive Supported Living Services team in Swansea. In this rewarding role, you\\\’ll help adults with complex health needs live more independently, ensuring every day is meaningful and fulfilling.
What You\\\’ll Be Doing
As a Support Worker, you\\\’ll be involved in all aspects of day-to-day support, including:
- Administering medication
- Preparing meals and supporting with mealtimes
- Laundry and household cleaning
- Accompanying on shopping trips and running errands
- Supporting relationships with friends, family, and the local community
- Taking part in leisure activities, such as swimming, cinema trips, and days out
- Advocating for their needs, preferences, and choices
- Providing personal care, with dignity and respect
- Assisting with manual handling as required
- Providing digital (computer-based) administrative support as a key worker
In this role, you\\\’ll be supporting four individuals with learning disabilities, helping them lead active, fulfilling lives. Each person we support has access to their own vehicle to promote independence, so a full UK driving licence is essential. The service runs 24/7, so flexibility is key. Shifts include day shifts (7:30 am – 3:00 pm or 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm) and waking night shifts (8:00 pm – 8:00 am; enhanced rates apply).
Due to the needs of the individuals we support and current legal guidance, this role is only open to applicants who are biologically female.

Pay and Pensions
- £24,531 FTE or £12.75 per hour
- Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift
- Waking night rate: 20% enhancement from 11pm to 7am
