About the Role

Ty Trosiad is a 10‑bed supported housing service for people with long‑term, complex needs, including mental health issues, substance misuse and difficulties managing their tenancy. The Scheme Support Officer will ensure the health & safety of the building, monitor visitors, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering advice, support and a listening ear.

Day‑to‑Day Duties

  • Engage with and support residents.
  • Assist Project Workers in delivering tenancy management and health‑and‑wellbeing workshops.
  • Conduct welfare checks.
  • Secure the building, perform health & safety checks and maintain awareness of who is on premises.
  • Address challenging behaviours.
  • Respond to additional needs of residents.
  • Support residents in cleaning their rooms and the scheme’s communal areas.

  • Team‑player with strong teamwork skills.

Part of your role includes sleep‑in shifts at the scheme. You will be provided with a secluded area including a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen facilities.
