Summary
We are looking to recruit a full-time, temporary Community Engagement Project Worker to join our preventative hubs service in Carmarthenshire. The hubs are in Llanelli, Amman, and Gwendreath, and provide preventative and solution-based community support.
Overview
It is essential for the successful candidate to have access to a car, have a full drivers licence, and be happy to transport customers in their car.
What is great about the role?
You will play a key part in the delivery of the preventative hubs in Llanelli, Amman and Gwendreath. These hubs support customers to improve and/or maintain their health, well‑being and independence through social integration and strong community relationships.
As part of the lead team, you will deliver the single point of contact from which customers can access information, opportunities, and support that is visible, accessible and available.
You will work closely with your team and partner organisations to deliver this service, receive referrals, provide information, have wellbeing conversations with customers, deliver community engagement campaigns, and develop community support networks.

Pobl Benefits
- Full-time (37hrs), fixed term until 30th June 2026.
- Salary: £28,041.00 FTE.
- Work pattern: Monday – Friday, with flexibility required depending on customers’ needs.
- 26 days holiday, pro‑rated entitlement plus bank holidays. Rising to 27 days after 1 year service or cash equivalent of 1 day’s annual leave.
