Our Newport Supported Housing Accommodation is looking for a positive, engaging, and passionate individual to join its team as a Project Worker working with individuals experiencing homelessness, children, adolescents, and families.

At Clifton Place, you would work with a diverse group of people, including families, young people, pregnant women, individuals with physical disabilities, mental health issues, substance misuse, and trafficking victims. Every day offers new learning opportunities and chances to collaborate with agencies such as social services, health visitors, and community nurses. Day-to-Day Duties:
Proactively engaging with individuals and families perceived as ‘hard to reach’ using positive, persistent, and assertive approaches to build trust and improve outcomes, including tenancy sustainability.
You will lead each shift by supporting individuals, managing the scheme, and overseeing Scheme Support Officers.
Your day will include:
- Engaging with service users
- Developing and following support plans
- Delivering workshops on tenancy management and wellbeing
- Liaising with external agencies
- Addressing additional needs of the people supported
Our goal is to equip individuals with knowledge and tools for independent living. The role involves working with complex behaviors and needs, such as alcohol misuse, mental health issues, substance misuse, and disabilities. You will need adaptability to engage with a diverse client base.
- Salary: £26,072.00 plus £51.11 for each sleep-in
- Work Pattern: 24/7 coverage on a 5-week rolling rota, including day shifts, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Requirements: Enhanced DBS check (paid for by us)
- Benefits: Sick pay, tailored learning pathways, internal progression, wellbeing support, Time for Talk service, 45p per mile
