A part-time (18.5 hours per week) Lead Project Worker opportunity is available within our Pobl Properties service in Newport. You will be required to work during office hours, Monday to Friday, although the specific working pattern can be discussed at interview.

As a Lead, you will work closely with the Manager to support the day-to-day running of the service, while also providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex needs. You will lead and support a team of six Floating Support Workers who deliver housing-related support to our customers. Alongside this, you will take responsibility for the housing management of our shared accommodation sites, playing a key role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the service is delivered to a high standard.
Other Duties Include:
- Provide support around housing challenges, mental health issues, substance misuse issues and other complex needs.
- Assisting with sustaining and securing suitable accommodation.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Developing your networking skills by working in partnership with external agencies.
- Monitoring the safety of the shared accommodation sites including maintenance, fire safety and daily standard checks.

- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise.
- Ability to assess risk and propose risk management strategies.
