Summary

Are you passionate about using data, technology and innovation to shape the future of asset management in social housing? This is a unique opportunity to influence how we use property asset intelligence to improve safety, sustainability and long-term planning, while leading the transition towards more proactive, insight-led decision making across the organisation.

Overview

About the role

This is a key leadership role within Codi's Asset Management team, where you'll ensure data and insight drive how we invest in, improve and maintain our homes. You'll transform complex property, compliance, investment and customer information into meaningful intelligence that supports smarter decision making, better services and improved outcomes for customers.

You'll play a leading role in helping Codi make earlier, more informed decisions around investment, property safety, sustainability and long-term asset performance. As part of our ambitious approach to innovation, you'll also help drive the responsible use of AI, machine learning and data science to predict future risks, identify opportunities and support evidence-based investment decisions that benefit our homes, communities and customers.

Skills And Experience Needed

We're looking for someone who can think strategically while also delivering practical outcomes. You'll be confident leading and developing a high performing team, building strong relationships across departments, and communicating complex information clearly to a wide range of stakeholders. You'll bring substantial experience of managing asset management systems, datasets and property intelligence, using insights to shape investment programmes, improve asset performance and support long‑term business planning.

You’ll have a strong understanding of asset management data, budgeting, financial forecasting and investment modelling, together with detailed knowledge of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS) and the full scope of Welsh Government’s regulatory WHQS compliance regime. Experience of data science, machine learning and automation would be particularly advantageous as we continue to develop our innovative, evidence‑led approach to asset management.
