A part-time Floating Support Worker in the Connecting People Service in Ceredigion. The working pattern for this role is predominantly Monday – Friday office hours, although flexibility is required for the service needs.

This is a Floating Support Worker role in our Connecting People Service, the base for the role being located at the Camfan Service, Lampeter, Ceredigion. The Manager and Floating Support Workers provide a passion for supporting individuals experiencing challenging times.
You will provide community support to individuals (18+) who have mild learning disabilities. The support provided can be around housing challenges, mental health issues, substance misuse, and other complex needs. With assisting with sustaining and securing suitable accommodation, it is rewarding when you are part of an individual’s development and growth.
Skills And Experience Needed
- Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential.
- It is essential to hold a valid UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle.
- A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible.
- An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people’s lives.
- A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player.
- Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations.

Pay and Pensions
- £24,531.00 FTE (£12.75 per hour)
