Bank Food Service Assistant

£12.60 per hour

The opportunity:

Linc Cymru operates Extra Care Schemes for older people across Rhondda Cynon Taff.We are looking for some addition help and can offer an immediate start for the right applicant.

You will work alongside the existing team to lay and clear tables, prepare food and keep the kitchen area clean, tidy and safe. Ideally you will have some experience of working within a commercial kitchen environment, however what is important is a good work ethic, being a quick learner, and being prepared to help out wherever needed.

What we need from you:

Communication skills – as you’ll be a member of the kitchen team, you’ll be working with many people, from the Chef and assistant chef to the service managers and our residents. So, you’ll have to be approachable and friendly and enjoy a good chat!

Working knowledge of health and safety procedures – getting the job done safely is key. You’ll need to have a Basic Food Hygiene certificate and knowledge of basic dietary and nutritional requirements. If you have a first Aid certificate, let us know! If not, don’t worry as we’ll provide training and support you through it.

An Enhanced DBS check will need to be carried out for this role.
