About the role

Bank Food Service Assistant

Zero hours contract, with dayshift hours between 8am-2.30pm

The opportunity:

Linc Cymru operates Extra Care Schemes for older people across Rhondda Cynon Taff. We are looking for additional help and can offer an immediate start for the right candidate.

You will work alongside the existing team to lay and clear tables, prepare food, and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen area. Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred but not essential; a good work ethic, quick learning ability, and willingness to help where needed are most important.

What we need from you

• Good communication skills to work effectively with chefs, service managers, and residents.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including a Basic Food Hygiene certificate and understanding of dietary requirements. First Aid certification is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
