We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual with strong customer service skills to join our catering team in CODI SHELTERED HOUSING SERVICES, North Wales.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food to residents, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Lay and clear tables.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety, following Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
  • Support catering team during 9‑6 shifts throughout the week, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Assist with plating, tidying, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills – greet tenants warmly and explain menu options clearly.
  • Basic understanding of dietary and nutritional needs, following guidelines for vegetarian or allergen‑friendly meals.
  • Hands‑on kitchen and dining duties – setting up tables, washing dishes, and keeping everything spotless.
  • Team player with a flexible attitude and supportive relationship with colleagues and tenants.
  • Commitment to keeping the kitchen spotless and understanding of Health & Safety and Food Safety.

Salary & Benefits

  • Annual salary: £24,563 (FTE)
  • Pension options: Defined Contribution up to 10% match; Defined Benefit – 1/80th of final salary per year of service.
