Overview

Codi Group is a not-for-profit provider of housing, care, and support in Wales. We are expanding our Care Relief Bank across our person-centred supported living services in Gwent (Caerphilly Borough and Monmouthshire) and we are seeking Relief Support Workers to help cover sickness, holidays, and rota gaps. You will work with individuals with learning and physical disabilities, mental health needs, and autism, delivering consistent, high-quality care to promote stability, safety, and kindness.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the health and wellbeing of the individuals we support.
  • Provide personal care and emotional support.
  • Administer medications as required.
  • Participate in stimulating activities and involve individuals in a person-centred approach.

Role Details

As a Relief Support Worker, you will work closely with the individuals we support on a daily basis to help them live their lives to the full and assist with needs in accordance with their wishes, including personal care and building a supportive friendship with them.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with people with physical or mental health needs is desirable but not required, as full training and support are provided.
  • IT, literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Experience working as part of a team and customer service skills.

Pay and Benefits

  • £13.45 per hour.
  • Waking night rate: 20% enhancement from 11pm to 7am.
