This is a relief position, meaning there are no guaranteed hours or set shifts, and there is no obligation to accept shifts that are offered. You'll provide cover for annual leave, sickness absence and busy periods across our services, making it an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for flexibility and a great work-life balance. There are no split shifts or late evening shifts, allowing you to enjoy a more predictable working pattern when you choose to work.

A willingness and ability to travel is essential, as you'll support services across South Wales. You'll only ever work at one service at a time, but may be asked to cover different locations depending on operational need. Skills and Experience Needed

  • Previous catering experience within a commercial, care or hospitality setting.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality food and service.
  • Confident preparing and presenting nutritious meals, meeting residents' dietary and cultural needs.
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
  • Hold an NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation/Catering and a Food Hygiene qualification (Level 2 minimum).
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, health and safety.
  • Enthusiastic about continuous learning and development, willing to attend any training required by management.
