A full‑time, permanent Scheme Support Officer position in a short‑term Supported Accommodation scheme in Barry. You will work on a rolling rota that includes days, evenings, weekend availability and sleep‑in shifts paid at £62.64 per shift. This role is based at the Supported Accommodation Service, Barry Offenders, and involves working with individuals who have been involved in the criminal justice service to develop the skills required to settle in the community and achieve positive progression.

Day‑to‑Day Duties

  • Assist the Project Workers and individuals in creating and implementing realistic goals
  • Motivate and inspire customers to make positive changes
  • Engage and interact with customers through meaningful activities
  • Develop your networking skills by working in partnership with external agencies

Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential
  • A passion for working with and enabling people to live as independently as possible

Pay and Pensions

  • Salary: £25,877.00 FTE
  • Sleep‑in rate: £62.64 per 8‑hour shift
