As a Financial Systems Administrator, you will be part of a highly dedicated and professional team responsible for delivering the highest quality of service to an internationally dedicated client base. The main purpose of your role will be to provide day-to-day support for the Company’s financial system, which includes providing problem-solving for both users and interfaces and providing support to internal and external users of the supplier web portal (haulier portal).

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting users of the accounting, invoicing, purchase ordering and reporting systems
  • Support users (internal staff and external hauliers) of the Supplier Gateway web portal system
  • Creation of supplier and customer accounts on the system
  • Daily clearance of interface error report entries
  • Oversee error reports on a daily basis and liaise with users and IT in order to resolve errors
  • Review and maintain user access for Unit4 Financials
  • Liaise with the IT department for technical support regarding problem resolution
  • Data quality management on the above systems, including verifying bank details

Your profile

  • Understanding of basic accounting principles is essential
  • Working knowledge of Unit4 Financials would be desirable
  • Haulage/Transport sector knowledge would be desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and a logical mindset
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft suite, in particular Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Language skills (French, German or Dutch) would be an advantage
