Porte Noire Kings Cross was launched by David Farber and Idris Elba in 2021. You will be joining a successful two AA Rosettes restaurant in the heart of Kings Cross new development, Coaldrop Yards. We are currently increasing the size of our restaurant two folds, adding an events and private dining room space.

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager who will focus on delivering the best hospitality to our customers, maintain the highest standard of service whilst offering hospitality to our guests. Your focus will be training the FOH staff whilst hosting guests, as well as working closely with the head chef and reporting/communicating with the Owner. We're looking for someone motivated and with the skills and expertise to progress quickly.

We have 45 seats inside and 40 on the terrace, the extension of the venue will double that, adding an event space and a private dining room. We offer fine dining food in a more relaxed environment; knowledge of fine dining is a plus, knowledge of wine a plus but not a necessity, you will also be in charge of the Bar.

We are looking for a passionate candidate with strong work ethics. You have an eye for detail, are able to plan ahead, and organise your work so that we can always deliver a consistent and highest quality of hospitality. You are experienced in training staff, very guest-focused with great communication skills. You are proficient with hospitality systems, know KPIs and metrics, as well as staff management. Prior experience in a similar role is mandatory. Strong knowledge of hospitality and food is required, wine knowledge is a big plus.
