The company specialise in Concrete Batching Systems and are one of the main suppliers to Acheson & Glover, Aggregate Industries, Breedon, Creagh, FP McCann, Kilsaran, Northstone, Roadstone and Tobermore Paving.
Job Description
This position is a versatile role assisting mechanical, electrical and mechatronic engineers as they install, maintain and calibrate concrete batching plants throughout the UK and Ireland. The role involves extensive travel throughout the UK & Ireland. On the job training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- To assist with electrical and mechanical tasks
- Support daily operations
- Calibrate weigh systems using 20Kg weights
- Conduct all duties in a safe and careful manner to ensure the safety of yourself and others
- Be dependable with good punctuality and time keeping
- Ability to work away from home, generally every other week (Monday to Friday) as many systems are in GB and ROI
- Ability to work overtime as and when required. Normal working hours 08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the job delays can be encountered on site so finishing times can be erratic
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Skills and Qualifications
- Candidates must have a full valid car driving license.
- Engineering experience
