PNDC is one of the University of Strathclyde’s industry-facing centres established to accelerate the development of next-generation power networks and whole energy systems, including the decarbonisation of heat and decarbonised transport solutions. It provides a real-world environment to de-risk and demonstrate innovations across grid modernisation, digital substations, power electronics, powertrains and whole energy system integration to drive the Net Zero transition.
At PNDC, we bridge the gap between concept and deployment, working alongside network operators, technology providers, and policymakers to accelerate innovation. PNDC is seeking an ambitious, commercially focused Senior Business Development Manager to lead the development and conversion of a pipeline of strategically important projects, partnerships and innovation programmes.
Working across the whole energy system (electricity, transport and heat), you will engage directly with senior industry leaders, technical specialists and innovation teams to understand their challenges, identify opportunities for collaboration, and position PNDC's unique capabilities to deliver meaningful commercial and technical outcomes.
You will be instrumental in maximising utilisation of PNDC and ANZIC facilities while helping organisations accelerate innovation and reduce the risks associated with deploying new technologies.
Formal interviews for this post will be held on a date to be confirmed.
