About Us
PMT Education is a leading non‑profit education platform dedicated to ensuring that all students have access to the resources they need to excel academically. For every parent who can afford to help their child achieve better grades, there’s a parent who can’t; our mission is to level the educational playing field. We are one of the few organisations in the UK committed to providing free, high‑quality resources that support both students in the exam hall and teachers in the classroom. Alongside our free revision materials, we run affordable online revision courses that support thousands of GCSE and A Level students each year. These take place during school holidays and key points in the academic year, offering targeted support when students need it most. To ensure accessibility, we offer free bursary places on every course for students from low‑income and disadvantaged backgrounds. We also run a comprehensive tuition platform that connects students with experienced tutors for tailored, one‑to‑one support.
Role Overview
Our online courses are a key part of how we support GCSE and A Level students throughout the academic year. As Courses Assistant, you’ll work closely with our Head of Courses to support the smooth running and ongoing development of our courses. You’ll be involved in the setup and delivery of courses from start to finish – including recruiting tutors, organising course materials, updating course information, communicating with students and parents, and troubleshooting any issues as they arise. This is a highly administrative and detail‑oriented role. A significant part of your work will involve day‑to‑day course administration, checking information carefully, and ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and on time. You’ll also assist in shaping the future of our courses – whether that’s improving course delivery, supporting the introduction of new subjects or exam boards, or helping us scale up. This role would suit someone who enjoys structured administrative work, is highly organised, and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail. It also offers the opportunity to develop broader experience in course operations and coordination within a growing education company, with scope to take on increasing responsibility over time.

Our courses take place at key points throughout the academic year, including during the Christmas and Easter holidays, during the May exam period, and over a two‑week period in August. Some courses also run over weekends. As a result, the successful candidate will need to be available to support course delivery during these periods when required. This may occasionally involve working evenings or weekends outside standard office hours. Time off in lieu will be provided.
