AWS seeks an experienced event manager to drive strategy and end-to-end execution of AWS flagship events in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). This includes the large-scale AWS Summit program where customers learn about AWS through keynotes, hands-on technical sessions, and interactive learning opportunities covering topics from cloud migration to AI.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Event Program Management
- Develop comprehensive program strategies aligned with business objectives and working backwards from the customer.
- Own end-to-end planning and delivery of major event programs.
- Manage large budgets.
- Create and maintain detailed project timelines with clear milestones and deliverables.
- Drive innovation in program execution, delivery methods and event experience.
- Lead onsite execution of live events.
- Program Execution & Leadership
- Manage complex, high-visibility programs with significant scope and investment.
