The Rufus team is seeking a Product Manager to lead the expansion of Rufus’s Content and Category Expertise programs across international markets. Rufus is the world’s most helpful AI shopping assistant, and this role will be instrumental in ensuring our content delivers locally relevant, high-quality shopping experiences to customers worldwide. Based in London, this role will oversee all regions outside the US where Rufus is available, working to extend our proven content programs and create innovative, content‑led customer experiences in international markets. As Rufus continues to transform how customers shop on Amazon, this role will be critical in ensuring our AI shopping assistant delivers world‑class expertise and locally relevant content to customers around the globe. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of AI‑powered shopping experiences while working with state‑of‑the‑art technology and talented teams across Amazon.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard new content that will improve Rufus’s knowledge base and expertise.
  • Expand and improve upon web search capabilities to enhance Rufus’s understanding and response quality in international contexts.
  • Coordinate with regional stakeholders to understand local market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Ensure content is locally relevant, culturally appropriate, and policy compliant across diverse markets.
  • Design and launch new content‑led customer experiences tailored to international market needs.
  • Drive experimentation and iteration to optimize content strategy based on customer engagement and satisfaction metrics.
  • Define and track key performance indicators for international content programs.
  • Develop scalable processes and frameworks that can be adapted across multiple markets.

This is an opportunity to join the high‑performing team behind Amazon’s generative AI‑powered shopping assistant. Rufus makes it easy for customers to find and discover the best products to meet their unique needs by helping with product research, providing comparisons and recommendations, answering specific product questions, and more. This role will bring innovation and cohesion to our efforts to deliver a seamless and delightful AI‑assisted shopping experience to customers worldwide.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with end to end product delivery.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience collaborating and influencing multiple teams across multiple organizations.
  • Experience coordinating between technical teams, peers and business stakeholders.
  • Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, or experience in a fast‑paced, high‑tech company.
  • Experience building and effectively executing a strategy from the ground up, including designing roadmaps to drive incremental progress towards long‑term vision and goals.
  • Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes, and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Experience in English‑language communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record in product management with international scope.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale.
  • Knowledge of and passion for e‑commerce.
  • Background working with selling partners, vendors, and/or creator communities.
